Duration: 18 Nights/19 Days
Day 1: Delhi
You arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport at Delhi.
At the airport our representative will meet and escort you
to a hotel of your choice. After freshning up, you will be
briefed about the pros and cons of your "Rajasthan Desert
Tour".
In the late afternoon you will embark on a sight seeing trip
of Delhi and visit notable tourist landmarks like Red Fort,
Jama Masjid, Humayun's Tomb, Qutub Minar, Chandni Chowk, Laxmi
Narayan Temple and the majestic Lodhi Gardens.
Return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight halt at
Delhi.
Day 2: Delhi to Mandawa
After breakfast you drive to Mandawa in Rajasthan covering
distance of 258 kms. Upon arrival at Mandawa, your tour guide
helps you to check-in at a top rate hotel in Mandawa. After
freshening up you embark on a sightseeing trip of the majestic
havelis of Mandawa accompanied by your guide.
After an enchanting tour of Mandawa, return back to the hotel
for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Mandawa to Bikaner
Wake up in the morning and have breakfast. Today we proceed
on our onward journey to Bikaner - The camel country of India,
renowned for its camels and shimmering sand dunes covering
a distance of 164 kms. Upon arrival at Bikaner, check-in at
a hotel of your choice.
After freshning up you embark on a sightseeing spree of Bikaner
including visits to Bikaner Fort, Lalgadh Palace and Karni
Mata Temple.
Return back to the hotel in time for dinner and overnight
halt at Bikaner.
Day 4: Bikaner to Jaisalmer
Today you will be driving to the desert town of Jaisalmer
covering 333 kms. Upon arrival, check in at a hotel of your
choice.
Freshen up and embark on an enchanting camel ride and visit
Jaisalmer Fort, the Gadisagar Lake and the cenotaphs at Bara
Bagh.
Return back to the hotel in time for dinner and overnight
halt at Bikaner.
Day 5: Jaisalmer
Today the schedule is a rather relaxed one, and your tour
guide has planned a desert safari to the renowned Khuri Sand
dunes. The whole day is devoted to exploring the Khuri sand
dunes and visits to colorful desert villages.
By evening return back to the hotel and have a sumptuous dinner.
Overnight halt at Jaisalmer.
Day 6: Jaisalmer
No activities are planned for the day. However, you have the
option of visiting the vibrant bazzars of Jaisalmer. A walking
tour along the narrow alley ways of Jaisalmer can be a very
rewarding experience.
Day 7: Jaisalmer to Jodhpur
After an early morning breakfast, we proceed on our onward
journey to Jodhpur covering a distance of 285 kms. Upon arrival
at Jodhpur, check-in at a heritage hotel and refresh yourself.
After freshning up, embark on a sight seeing trip to the majestic
Meherangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, Umaid Bhawan Palace and the
vibrant Giridkot and Sardar market.
Return back to hotel for dinner. Overnight halt at Jodhpur.
Day 8: Jodhpur to Ranakpur
Today we travel to the intriguing town of Ranakpur covering
a distance of 150 kms. Upon arrival at Ranakpur, check-in
at a heritage hotel. Freshen up and relax for sometime to
be in perfect shape for an enchanting sight seeing trip of
the renowned Jain temples of Ranakpur.
Return back to the hotel in time for dinner. Overnight halt
at Ranakpur.
Day 9: Ranakpur to Udaipur
Leaving behind the happy memories of Ranakpur, we proceed
to Udaipur - "the city of Lakes". Upon arrival at
Udaipur, check-in at a top-rate hotel. Freshen up and in the
evening you could go for a leisurely stroll around Udaipur's
bustling bazaar. Overnight halt at Udaipur.
Day 10: Udaipur
Today the entire day will be spent on exploring the sights
and sounds of Udaipur. On the list of places to visit are
the glittering Pichola Lake, Fateh Sagar Lake, Sahelion Ki
Bari, City Palace, Zenana Mahal, Maharana Pratap Memorial,
Jagdish Mandir to name just a few of the landmarks.
After an exhilarating day of sight seeing, return back to
the hotel in time for dinner. Overnight halt at Udaipur.
Day 11: Udaipur to Chittorgaurh
Today after an early morning breakfast we leave for Chittorgarh
covering a distance of 112 kms. Upon arrival at Chittorgarh,
check-in at a hotel of your choice. Freshen up and relax for
sometime to be in perfect mood for an exciting sight seeing
trip of Chittorgarh.
You will be visiting the ancient Chittorgarh Fort which used
to be the capital of the Mewar Kingdom, mostly under the renowned
Sisodia Rajputs. Other places to visit are Vijay Stambh, Kirti
Stambh, Padmini's Palace and Rana Khumbha's palace.
Return back to the hotel for nighthalt at Chittorgarh.
Day 12: Chittorgarh to Bundi
Leaving behind happy memories of Chittorgarh, we proceed to
a quaint little Rajasthan town of Bundi. Upon arrival at Bundi,
check-in at a hotel of your choice. After a brief relaxation,
embark on a sightseeing tour of Bundi and its surrounding
areas. Overnight halt at Bundi.
Day 13: Bundi to Pushkar
Toda after breakfast we proceed to our onward destination
- Pushkar. Upon arrival at Pushkar, check in at a top grade
hotel. Relax and freshen up.
We take you on an enchanting trip of Pushkar's many temphs
and ghas which are renowned for their legendary charm. The
temple of Lord Brahma - the creator of the universe is foremost
on our list of temples to visit. Also on the list are a visit
to the holy temples of Savitri and Apteshwar.
After a day of hectic sight seeing, return back to the hotel
in time for dinner. Overnight halt at Pushkar.
Day 14: Pushkar to Jaipur
Learning the enchanting city of Pushkar, we proceed to Rajasthan's
capital - Jaipur covering a distance of 145 kms. Upon arrival
at Jaipur, check-in at a classy hotel. The whole day is fee
for you and you can choose to relax or take a leisurely evening
walk to Jaipur's vibrant and colorful bazaars for souvenir
hunting.
Overnight halt at Jaipur.
Day 15: Jaipur
We have devoted the entire day for sight seeing in Jaipur.
There is no headache of overnight journey and you can embark
on a fascinating sight seeing trip of Jaipur's landmarks like
Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, City Palace, Nahargarh
Fort, Gaitor, Nawab Saheb Ki Haveli and the Central Museum
to name just a few of the sites that we will be visiting in
course of the whole day.
After eventful day, return back to the hotel in time for dinner.
Overnight halt at Jaipur.
Day 16: Jaipur to Ranthambore
After an early morning breakfast we proceed to our onward
destination - the world famous Ranthambore National Park covering
a distance of 170 kms. upon arrival at Ranthambore, check-in
at the Forest Lodge.
After adequate rest and relaxation, we embark on a mini safari
inside the forest followed by a refreshing nature walk along
the contours of the park.
Overnight at Ranthambore.
Day 17: Ranthambore
This is a big day for you and after a sumptuous breakfast
we embark on a full day jungle safari in our quest to sight
the big cat which is elusive to say the last. Apart from tigers,
Ranthambore is home to a wide variety of wildlife species
like deer, nilgai, wild boar, sambax, chital to name just
a few of the resident species of Ranthambore. The park has
three lakes or reservoirs which are frequented by the resident
animals for quenching their thirst. The safari goes deep inside
the arid forest cover of Ranthambore for viewing the magnificent
medicval fort there is located inside the Ranthambore National
Park.
After an eventful day of wildlife safari, return back to the
Forest Lodge. Overnight natt at Ranthambore.
Day 18: Ranthambore to Agra
Leaving behind the haunting wilderness of Ranthambore, we
proceed to Agra to have a date with one of the wonders of
the world - The Taj Mahal. Upon arrival at Agra, check-in
to a classy hotel.
After adequate rest and relaxation, we begin our sight seeing
tour with the grand Taj Mahal followed by visits to Jama Masjid,
Akbar's Tomb and the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Duallah to name just
a few.
After a truly remarkably day of sight seeing, return back
to hotel in time for dinner. Overnight at Agra.
Day 19: Agra to Delhi
On the final day of your Rajasthan odyssey, we drive you to
Delhi covering a distance of 203 kms. Upon arrival at Delhi,
you have the option of checking-in at a hotel of your choice
for a few hours to refresh yourself. Post-relaxation we drive
you to the airport and bid adieu with the hope to see you
again soon.
